Wolfram|Alpha

I like Wolfram|Alpha. It’s a great resource for all sorts of information. I’ve been looking at mortality data and growth charts.

It’s also useful for more general information since the way is presents the results is very straightforward. Here is what it can tell you about the International Space Station and the Hubble Space Telescope.

Stephen Wolfram is a pretty interesting guy. Author of Mathematica among other things. There is a 30 min interview with him at the end of the latest This Week In Tech.

A Lord of the Rings fan film called “The Hunt for Gollum” was released on May 3rd. It’s very high quality, definitely worth checking out if you are a LOTR fan.
